We can ship through the post office and it will be transferred but our insurance carrier will not insure these and therefore if you insist us to ship and not hold them, if they go missing you forfeit all rights to reship or refunds. We would not do that to our customers so instead we would just cancel the order and refund. You can also choose to upgrade to FedEx but that's expensive. I guess right now the best we can do is hold onto your order until this strike is resolved.
We will be sending emails to those affected.
UPDATE: 11/27
So apparently the strikers have been forced back to work by the courts. Doesn't sound like anything has been resolved though. Canada post has reported parcels will be delayed through March.
for International parcels: Delays are likely to stretch into March of 2019. International items will require screening by the Canada Border Services Agency. We are working in partnership with them to manage the significant existing backlog
On the other hand we will be glad to ship your orders Free Shipping, as ordered, but this is entirely up to you and knowing the situation if your package is delayed XS will not be held responsible. Not an ideal situation for our friends up North, but we can only do so much.
