What Happened?
On August 12, 2020 our mod security program running on our servers identified a potential harmful upload which was immediately isolated. Out of precaution the forum was set to maintenance mode making it unavailable to access. We have taken the necessary steps to patch the security flaw and are conducting an internal and external investigation to determine what if any data was exposed. Security has always been a priority of ours which is why your community forum account is not connected to your store account. Your store account is safe and unattached to the community forum.
What personal information was involved?
While it appears no data was leaked, we continue to investigate. If data was leaked this is most likely User Name and email. While we believe no data was breached, because of our commitment to transparency and community we have decided to inform all of our community members about this situation.
If you are an active community member you might have noticed some down-time yesterday while we took steps to contain any threats. However some posts were lost as I instructed my developers to restore to a time before the threat was uploaded. Regretfully this eliminated all posts from Wednesday August 12th. It was with a heavy heart to take such an action but site security and the protection of your data is foremost important. To err on the side of safety I have set the forum to require password changes for everyone. It is good practice to change your passwords at a minimum every 6 months anyway and never use a global password across all sites.
I do personally apologize for any inconvenience in losing posts. I realize how frustrating it is to lose your heartfelt contributions to our community. I don't know why so many people out there have nothing better to do than attack others. I guess we are doing something good in this world and as such become a threat to those who make their lifestyle by ill repute. I will continue to update you when and if we determine any information leaked.

Coincidence? Anyway, I'm using the blocking and spam function so my provider will soon identify all of them as spam.
