There are amazing new: features, shipping deals, categories, products, supplies, and all around cool stuff.
I realize its just a store or shopping cart to some, but I believe it should be a part of your overall experience and it should make you smile. We have features that take the guess work out of home blending, more molecules, more choices. We've added a bunch of new shipping choices for everyone so you'll have more options, including free shipping.
The cart is a lot more interactive and the functionality is off the hook. This leaves us a lot of room for future growth.
There's a couple of caveats to all this though, like the time and energy that we have been putting into it. So much so that I totally messed up and forgot to order androstenone from the lab.
Its a staple to nearly every blend and I am completely out. Not a smart move on my part and I apologize. I ordered enough to last 6 months so there's some lead time to get it done. Once it arrives it will be shipped overnight to Steraloids for the 3rd party CoA testing and then everything will be back in stock. This should be all completed next week. In the meantime, yeah we are short on some blends.With all that pheromoneXS 3 year anniversary is on July 15th. . Okay no killing, but definitely thrilling. We are now pushing for next week for the release.I know everyone has been really amazingly supportive and patient and for that Idle and myself are eternally grateful. We were both just saying how much we missed the forum and neither one of us feel very good about that. At the same time we both agreed the forum is our feel good time. Forgive us as we know we have been absent but we are doing this so when we are done we will have more time to spend with our friends in the community.
As updates become available I'll post here when I can. Otherwise I'll be working on the cart
The idea behind it is to add all the products and have it select 4 randomly with our selected discounts. Only those products will be discounted on that particular day. The rest appear as normal. It didn't actually work out the way it was supposed to. By adding more than 4 it shut the whole thing down. So the only way to do it was to manually add 4 products and change the pricing for each one. However this didn't actually work with our cache system (or something like that). We use caches of our site all over the world so wherever you are you get fast access and everything loads super fast.
Basically its broken and by adding them manually we would significantly slow the site down and be penalized by google for having a slow loading site. That's not to mention some products would be listed as on sale when in fact they were not and what a bummer that would be when you went to checkout.
The good news is we have been working on a solution. This was a KEY feature Idle and I LOVED about the new cart. Its just a matter now of getting all these mods working together. XS is a very secure site so without revealing much we usually have to find work around with our security and mods. Just today we had someone who is well known as an expert in their respective field tell Idle he was extremely impressed with our security.
Sorry for the rambling but yeah its on the to do list and will be fixed in a couple weeks time. Today's consultation will remedy a lot of these small but important issues. The cart is still very new.
