  • Basic Feminist Lie

All ideologies are based on lies and theories about how to deal with those lies. Feminism is no different than Communism or Socialism or Fascism.

I started Studying Jordan Peterson's work to try to synthesize all the social sciences. Until recently his life's work was all in one book, The Architecture of Belief". It's a very far-ranging work on combining Neurosciences, sociology, anthropology, psychology, cultures, and religions.

It would have been fairer to introduce him from excerpts of this work for he Is a Clinical Psychologists and a tenured professor. His work could have significant applications in the understanding of how pheromones work differently in different people. I considered him more liberal than even myself.

Unfortunately, he got thrown under the bus by people even more liberal and now he's labeled conservative despite his progressive works.
Here he exposes a basic feminist misconception and its underlying fallacies.

Consider it a red pill of sorts and don't watch if you want to keep thinking men are in charge of women.

It's our own little place now. Men have moved gently aside in a gentlemanly manner since the 70's. Much of the world has been shaped by women's desires. It was an interesting game while they seduced us but the clubbing over the head, the attempted censorships are creating way too much collateral damage. Collateral damage is a term they use in war. Here we are again, moved gently aside.

Jordan Peterson was acceptable collateral damage. I was told that I was acceptable collateral damage but go ahead and carpet bomb an innocent population and soon even they will wake up. All the men in jails? Much of that is driven by women's entry into the political system. The male suicide rate, divorce driven by an underlying bad economy and the job market? Diluted by women and holding down wages while they accept low wages. Why can they accept low wages? Because they suck from men's wallets to make up the shortfalls

I was studying Jungian and esoteric symbolism when a West Coast intellectual, nerd told me I needed to look into Dr Petersons stuff. At the time I had no idea that Canada would kick him in the butt over exercising free speech over a free speech issue. He was just a shrink making connections I had been trying to make on my own hence the referral. Apparently, you are not allowed to exercise free speech in Canada if it involves any sort of Gender issue.

He's never been painful to read but I did have to take him piecemeal. I read, struggle, understand and only when I somewhat agreed would I move on. When I saw the left persecuting this guy I said to myself, hey what's up, this guy's one of those liberal Canadians. THAT got my curiosity. He already had my respect.

Jordan Peterson to me at least seems to be a modern day sophist, uses complex and sophisticated wording in an attempt to mask his absolute lack of sense and internal logic. He attempts to mask and obfuscate what he's saying by completely redefining words out of any reasonable daily usage of them, allowing him to freely say "Oh but that's not what I said!". Certainly got aboard on his train early on when he got popular and even bought his book "12 Rules for Life", watched a couple of his lectures. Was a centrist back then (in the American sense anyway), started questioning him when looked up his debates with atheists and proceeded to watch further breakdowns on his ideology.

For a liberal viewpoint on how Jordan Peterson operates, there are two videos I watched that convinced me that I would like to have your opinion on. Both are quite theatrical in their presentation on the topic and presented some very valid points.

you have about 400 topics presented here. I can't comment on all of them unless you break them out one or two at a time. Are you ridiculing the man or agreeing with his ideas?

It appears you are ridiculing the man WHILE agreeing with his ideas. You complain of a smokescreen but do you know anybody without an inner AND outer face?

I struggle to see there being 400 topics being presented here, there is only one and that is about Jordan Peterson. I'm certainly ridiculing the man and I'm not agreeing with his ideas.

I enjoyed the video. I will have to look into him some more.
The woman giving the interview clearly had a limited worldview, which he aptly, I thought, pointed out. He took into account the entirety of the world and antiquity and I found he articulated his points very well.
I have no more information to go on than the snippet of video, and having seen only that, at this point, would have to absolutely agree with him thus far.

while i generally agree with that, i think the conversation goes towards the polls from both sides.

i think that the internet is cousing us to use extremely polarizing language and to be gigantic assholes to each other.

i think feminist today see the world in very black and white terms, but you write like you also see it without much shades.
you should think about it man.

i fucked with some red pill stuff and although it was oddly entertaining, it was some of the most toxic hateful bullshit ive ever seen.
the guys there, like rollo tomassi, had zero ability to self criticize and they just talk completely out of their ass.
they are not different at all from the super radical left.
they surround them self with extremely like minded people and build this gigantic echo chamber around them.
they have all those lost and hurting people around them, sucking up to them and eat up everything they say, they never get challenged on any of their ideas.

while some of the ideas in the red pill community are true, fucking with this community is bad for youre soul, i would humbly advise on focusing on all the positive in life, and on all the beauty woman and all people have to offer, while not being naive and weak.

                peace.

I saw some of that stuff you speak of and promptly disconnected. Thanks for your concern for my soul. Actually participating in a community full of self-proclaimed amateur witches is probably worse. So is people telling me how to think, what to think and how to say it.

So exposing a lie is fucking with the community? Really? Do you prefer lies to truth? I realize a big part of 'the game' is for guys and gals to lie to each other but doesn't all that lying put a bad taste in your mouth. Don't the lies nag at your own soul. I've found that truth and elimination of self-deception is key to most positive growth. How do I know which direction is positive if I don't know where I'm currently standing.

But, I AM like that. I have near zero qualms against squashing lies. Sometimes I let them sit for a while. Sometimes I don't. I find it a waste of time to pursue a woman that acts like she like me but underneath hates men. Eventually, she will realize I'm one too. What happens when the chronic victim turns abuser as they invariably do. Then what?

i was trying to say that even if you have a lot of truth in youre words, there are ways to communicate that are better at helping people open their minds.
while its very easy and satisfying for me to hate on feminists and their narrative , i find all those videos of "exposing the so and so lie" , "so an so DESTROYS leftists at this and that talk" and all of that kind, just promoting more of the hate and lack of discussion.

for me, and thats just my opinion, the way to go is to spread the information and the things you believe in, in a kind, understanding and compassionate way.
if you attack other people opinion, you just make more enemy's.
thats one of the things i hate in most feminists, even when they have good points and they bring up real problems, they do it in the most antagonizing way possible. they attack people ruthlessly, spread hate and mark everyone as enemy's.

so thats all i am saying,
i dont know you, what you believe in and what knowledge you possess, if it sounded like i was acting to know all of that, i am sorry it wasnt my intention.
not even giving you advice or anything, just sharing my opinion.

Please keep in mind I opened a topic about Jordan Peterson and not red pill or that other guy you've mentioned. I've only read about 500 to 1000 words of his before I closed the browser tab.

Jordan Peterson discusses a lot of topics about psychology and neuroscience. These DO connect to pheromones though not a particular one. I find it fascinating and especially devoid of hate. Many men are enjoying his view on these topics. I'll repeat, I don't see the hate. I see, how to see, read and interpret a hit.

What is interesting to me are certain topics that really piss off some of the girls here. Totally baffling, I don't encounter this face to face with women.

One of the ones that pissed them off is how their reaction to certain pheromones are menstrual cycle dependent. This is basic pheromone knowledge to me. They send us to the store for tampons to emasculate us but we are supposed to act like we know nothing about girl topics. Why figuring out how women work is one of the main attractions of pheromones. Mysteries are being revealed. Not all pretty I guess.

Another one that has puzzled me was when I suggested that a red dress was sexual signaling. Up in arms again as if they want to be able to dress sexy and then deny it. I always like that "how dare you imply' attitude while they are dressed in bright scanty clothing and bitching about us even looking. This reminds me of those girls you talk and get to know but when you actually ask them out they act as if you just raped them or grabbed them in the ass while all you did was let it be known you are interested in going out for other than just friendship. More drama but dangerous drama. Yes, the XIST is working.

I guess what concerns me is the danger posed to us guys, when these girls freak out over some shit and act as if you raped them. It wasn't always like this. Other guys come to their defense and the guy is immediately guilty, never mind the girls, they are like packs of wild dogs. They will eat your career, your standing in a community and just about anything like your wallet they can sink their teeth into. Maybe you haven't been through it yet. That's the motive behind this topic.

I've read one PUA book, somewhere, in the beginning, it said to dress like a peacock. if you want to pick up a girl, look like you are out there looking. Common sense. I was not offended that my own dress signaled friend zone, but to imply that girls do the same thing(peacocking) was offensive. That's just silly at best but really it seems nuts to want to stay in a lie. I just call a flirtatious dress, sexual signaling. It is what it is.

A lot of what you speak to in post #12 is ignorance (not yours), youth and worldview.
I'm only speaking to what you've experienced on the forum. No. That's not entirely true.
Generally youth don't know about, say, a dress being sexually signaling - in those terms. They know, but they don't call it that. The world (media, at least western media) tells them that this kind of dress is normal for women and that, for whatever reason, men are supposed to be ok with (which really, plenty are ok with) sexually stimulating attire for all to see, whether it's exposed T&A or form fitting and suggestive. However men are also supposed to behave just as gentlemanly as if these same women were wearing the modest garb of a demure lady (which is unrealistic, and unlikely). Throw in pheromones, which we can use to influence men to express those things they may normally keep to themselves - like open, and natural, attraction to such exposed dress. And the expression of some men may be less tastefully delivered depending on the source. It is wrong to be offended by outrageous behavior when that is exactly what we are looking to create.
I believe there is a level of knowledge and maturity that only comes with time, experience and often deliberate persuit of honest understanding of behaviour - our own and others.
Accountability for ourselves and our actions are devolving in this society. Denial, selfishness, lack of moral compass, sin in general...is prevalent. Wool is thick and very difficult to see through, especially when we don't even realize it's pulled over our eyes. Often, we put it their ourselves and are content to leave it there. All the things you've spoken to are much deeper and far more rooted in antiquity than patriarchy or feminism.

On the lighter side - could you share some more of what you spoke to earlier in the post? About the topics on psychology and neuroscience? Recommends for any specific links?

i like peterson, i bought his book , maps of meaning, super interesting.

about the other stuff, i also have concern about were the world is heading but i keep in mind that it used to be worst and today i have more options to find the right place for me.

i try to keep positive and i surround myself with kind reasonable people and avoid the psychos as much as i can.

yes, a good number of women today will falsely accuse you or will try to ruin youre life with a divorce.
i have seen some horrible stuff, but it was almost all avoidable, almost always people that were blind, naive and ignore the advice from all their closest friends.

i think that it used to be easier for men to ruin womens life in the past, now its arguably easier for women in western countrys to do the same.
at the end of the day, some people are dangerous, some people can fuck up youre life just for the sake of it, male or female.
                          life is dangerous.

thats why IT IS important to gather all kinds of knowledge and talk bout all this stuff, like you are doing here.
it is very important to try to be strong, wise and adaptable, so you can survive and flourish in life.

i do however think that we can talk about everything with more kindness and remember that life is complicated and beautiful.
i see, mostly online, people tend to go overboard and talk in black and white, couse its much easier.
if its feminist, they very soon get to men hating, if its red pill community or whatever, they very soon turn into women hating.

anyway, i didnt really get what this thread was ment to be about, i think i have got my message out and there is no need for me to keep going on about it.

the last thing i will say to you my friend, is that i think you are making a bigger deal of what this really is.
while some countrys seems to be fucked, most places look pretty good to me.
i am barley watching the news and have blocked most political and stupid stuff from my facebook (dont have tweeter).
now i am usually hanging around with people from places that are more left leaning but most women i encounter are really fine ladys and not psycos at all.
yeah they might say some stupid shit here and there like most people, and they might share some stupid feminist shit on facebook sometimes, but they are very reasonable and cool people.
i think that with very basic screening you will avoid 99% of the problems you are imaging in youre mind.

I like this Jordan Peterson guy, interesting video, never heard of him, but I agree with his points. Reminds me a bit of Ben Shapiro, except more articulate.

I also think in all the stories, there are 2 sides, and the polarizing is what ultimately sells more advertising. We're drawn to stories we agree with generally because of cognitive dissonance. We often fail to see the other side. And because of that, we repeat the cycle. I get what hombre is saying, and I agree - falling into the trap of taking a firm side without taking a broader view makes you susceptible to the dogma of being a hardliner. I take from both sides myself, though I lean more traditionally/right. But if you don't keep an open-mind you can easily fall into extremes. Like my red pill friend (he's also cheated on his woman, but for the time being I give him benefit of the doubt, bros before ...).

I've also heard a lot of the divorce stories and there are some in my own family/friends. But the ones that generally had it worst are ones where they didn't self-reflect and realize that they made mistakes themselves. For example, I had a good friend who divorced a few years ago. For years he had issues with his wife. She cheated, would spoil the kids with his money, and this/that. Everyone in our circle thought of her as some gold digger. But the problem is, I only knew one side of the story. Very recently I found out from another acquaintance that for years our mutual friend beat his ex-wife physically. To the point where he got arrested and police showed up at his home multiple times. To the point where she had black eyes and bruises consistently. Because he had problems with his anger and couldn't control himself. But all we heard was she was this/that. Needless to say I also don't talk to him much any more, because it's weird to hide that lie from friends.

I've very recently started to be a lot more open-minded. I've noticed it in the news too. Not to get too political here, but you know the stories where one group is always ripped to shreds in the media, and 3 months later we find out the news story had a much different truth that was intentionally left out to fit the current societal narrative, to sensationalize and stir up people. Polarization sells.

But I think getting back to the point of the thread, I think the biggest thing is making yourself very clear. For instance, even today we have guys like Dan Bilzarian who openly trashes feminism on social media. Do you think any women will accuse him of rape or sexual harrassment? They know his persona is clear. I think it comes down to making your intentions clear, being at the top of your game health/career/status and also having good communication skills.

I've personally never had any of these issues that I hear about on the news etc. But I've had nights (in the past, where I hooked up with a few girls in 1 day haha, or multiple women at the same nightclub). So it's not like I haven't been in situations where I was with drunk women or anything. But I think even as a guy, I can sense that creep factor in some guys. It's hard to describe, but you can sense when a guy seems like he's going to be one of those accused of rape/harrassment. It's a personality. I think the dangerous thing is - it probably is most common among red pill guys and PUA, because they have an underlying hatred of women in some ways.

I think it often happens with people who don't have clear intentions, bad communication, etc. Not saying you or anyone here, but there is definitely a different side of the story, and I encourage you to seek that out. It's not all just about feminism this/that. It's actually bad because feminism gets a bad rep because it's shrouded by sensationalism more often than not.

P.S. I also recommend the book Principles by Ray Dalio. It encourages seeking the truth even when we don't agree with it.

I had two intentions when I started this thread. The first was to get some conversation going on in the new section. The second was to introduce Jordan Peterson.

I'm seeing how my Title should reflect a dislike for lying but is an attack nonetheless. I do have a spiritual guide that addresses attack thoughts I can look back into. Attacks beget attacks I guess and I have room to mellow out since this is a relatively safer spot to think about male-female stuff than the main forum.

Any favorite links for the phsycology and neuroscience that you say initially attracted you to Peterson as alluded to in post 12? The one(s) that gave you some insight to see, read, interpret hits?

It's finding the information in bitesize chunks that is presenting a problem. HIs Book Maps of Meaning, the Architecture of Belief took several years to read.

You can make anyone look bad through selective editing along with clever commentary. The videos you posted cover a wide range of topics in the criticism against Peterson but the videos don't go into any sort of depth so I don't think the criticisms are fair. The creator in the videos criticizes Jordan Peterson for his viewpoints on Post Modernism and the fact that Jordan Peterson is against Post Modernism and Marxism. I don't think it's wise to trust other people to do this sort of analysis for us. I certainly wouldn't trust anyone to analyze Jordan Peterson for me because everyone who does this sort of analysis online has their own agenda.

I encourage everyone to form their opinions about Jordan Peterson by listening to Jordan Peterson himself.

It took decades for me to see that the search for idealogical Utopias are the driving force behind the murdering of hundreds of millions.

I've read a good portion of the books Peterson has. He's good at putting big things together

NuTrix At the end of the Cathy Newman debate Peterson makes some remarks about status and that we have, like the lobster, an internal system that constantly monitors status and regulates serotonin. Now status is something we understand from a pheromone point of view. That's the entrance into the status rabbit hole. He says it is a biological mechanism that has been in existence for 350 million years.

My first hits were status hits. When a woman thinks a man can increase her status they get a serotonin release. Posture is an important status signal. when someone looks confident in themselves we find them attractive. For instance, men don't stare at slouching strippers. Only a small percentage of women will get a serotonin boost by seeing a slouching man. They would be previously hurt and preemptively domineering according to Peterson. When we put on status or ALPHA type mones we are scentwise standing tall. When I put on status mones I actually stand taller.

When I get a status hit it is not because the woman perceives herself equal, it is because she perceives herself to be a little less than. From there another biological pattern comes into play. When we see something, we don't see objects or people, Unfortunately, the brain is wired to see tools, only afterward do we give them names and they become objects or people. Revealing these biological circuits shows us to be different than a non-tool using animal but it is still part of our innate animal nature. If I recall men tend to see objects as tools and women tend to see people as tools but we all do both. Nobody likes to have that revealed. It creates a feeling of shame to be uncovered.

If I reveal to a hit that I know she considers herself of lower status or that her subconscious or even conscious decisions are to use me as a tool, The game is neutralized and I withdraw the serotonin boost. Serotonin depletion is depressing. It is the buffer to dopamine. Without the buffer, a person will grow agitated. Oddly, when I was younger, I often told women they just wanted to use me they admitted it and the hits turned sexual. Just thinking out loud on that last sentence. I may have just learned how to handle a status hit more intelligently and compassionately.

haha like everything else in life my friend.

like if you are self made millioner, many will hate on you if you roll around with a ferrari, but everyone will love you if you dont look rich and then they found out you are.

And that may be the same chemical pathway. Based on that, hide status if you have it and I guess show status if you don't have much. It's relative to how much status you have compared to the status of people you are around. Large gaps signal you are unlikely to be used as a tool. Small gaps have a higher probability of being able to be bridged.

I guess we have an instinct to avoid serotonin depletion. That might be linked to that circuit via some pain avoidance mechanic.

For the first status problem, we have epi-rone to decrease and androsterone to increase. A1 may be an avenue to avoid the pain and provide comfort if the gap is to large between social strata or has a high probability of failure as in the Ferrari exercise. But there are others available here besides a1 as we all know.

Shaping pheromone theories around status instead of sex could be an interesting exercise. I pursue it because I believe it has longer-term applications in relationship management and in the long term has a much broader appeal.
