One of our own community members described the Fresh Musk scent as being akin to Darbar Attar, and he proceeded to provide a link to a shop where I purchased the oil.

I spent a total of $8.95 and that included shipping. The internet shopping experience was really easy. I placed the order on July 31 and received it in my hands on August 3rd. So that's some dang good shipping speed.

The fragrance itself is spectacular. It's my first time ever using a fragrance oil that had a dip stick in it XD. The fragrance is ultra concentrated and requires no more than the smallest dab to smell good. A little bit bigger dab is required to cover up the scent of desire me, however ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

My experience with them has been excellent. I'm glad I visited this thread because they deserve a chance if you are interested in oil fragrances.

I did and sure enough my default location was Norway. Go figure. I updated my location and preferred currency.

I said previously I would not buy online but I bought a few samples from Demeter(.com) and it went pretty smoothly. I bought a few samples. Shipping was $8 for any amount of product. The scents were mostly ok, nothing to get excited about, but I was reminded that the chemistry of the body is such a factor in perfume scent that I can't imagine going through this trying to find a perfect scent. I'll stick to the perfume designers in the area.

Idk about that. I've had the same signature scent for over a decade. No matter what else i wear or try I always come back to it. It's like an old friend or that perfectly worn leather jacket. You never grow tired of it. It suits you perfectly.

Scottie2Hottie You’re right but sometimes the scent changes. I used to absolutely love Fahrenheit by Dior! It’s such a manly scent, and I’d always spray some from my cousins bottle when I was younger! lol

To me it smelled godly! I know that it smells a little dirty like gasoline but it’s perfect to me. But it has definitely changed. I do have a bottle now that a I bought a year or so ago. It is not the same. It’s smells like an imperfectly made clone of its previous glory. Kind of sad, it such a classic!

Yes perfumers sadly often reformulate fragrances. Fortunately mine remains unaltered.

It seems that 99% of the Alkemia reviews are from women. Are these women's fragrances? Unisex? Many of them sound intriguing but I'm not confident in pulling the trigger just yet.

Farkas is really nice if you like leather.
