Good cover scents to use with mones?

Need suggestions for cover scents besides sultans od and I just bought cool water but I'm not sure if it's a good cover scent or if it projects good in a work environment or even during social outings or just going out on the town even tho I heard about it on here

It seems to me that the lighter style and/or aquatics don't work as well as the spicy orientals.

My collection includes:

Man by Rochas
Sexual Noir by Michel Germain
Gentlemen Only Intense by Givenchy
Armani Code Colonia by Giorgio Armani
Nuit D'Issey by Issey Miyaki
Michael by Michael Kors

And while it is more in the fresh, clean citrusy category, Summer 2015 by Issey Miyaki. It's strong and has great longevity.

For cops I use Akuto or Sultans Oud.

I like Spicebomb by Viktor&Rolf a lot! I think it covers cops pretty good too! Also Acqua di Parma Leather is very strong but probably the best leather scent out there! It covers mones pretty good, since it’s kind of stinky by it self lol

Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier is nice too! It’s funny recently a guy was wearing a cologne and it smelled exactly like Akuto to me! I had to ask him what he was wearing, he said it was Jean Paul. So I’m guessing Akuto was modeled to Jean Paul’s cologne. It has a lot of lavender, vanilla, and mint notes.

I’m reading that the most recent Le Male formulation is the best one and a beast! I might be getting a bottle for my self!

You’re right! Easily! Also I find that women can wear men’s cologne with no problem. It might not work the other way for some perfumes for men. Some may be too sweet or flowery for men to wear? They could still wear it but I don’t think it’s very masculine lol

It’s all personal preference tho, just like wearing clothes I guess. Althought it is not exactly like wearing clothes, more like jewelry perhaps lol

I tried White Amber by Creed, it is a good frangrance and smells nice on me. It’s not my favorite tho, I like spicy and woody scents more.

Interesting, I get none of those notes from Akuto. To my nose it's an ambergris bomb with a background of spice (cinnamon and nutmeg).

Not a fan of Le Male nor lavender, in general. There are a rare few well balanced fragrances with lavender that I would ever wear.

I’m sure Akuto has lavender, I’ve noticed it many times. I have lavender scented detergent and it reminds of Akuto.

I think Akuto is a variation of Le Male. It probably lacks some of Le Male notes, but still it’s very similar. It’s probably simply a copy of Le Male which is usually not exact.

Le Male is a very popular cologne by the way. It has been around for many years, and still sells very well.

It was released in 1995 and you can still find it in all the stores, from Nordstrom to Walmart.

Not since the 80s. It's old news. I never understood women's fascination with it. It has lavender and jasmine both of which I loathe.

Not really a fan of the aquatics. I don't hate them, they just don't excite me. I hate florals...jasmine most and lavender, rose. I can tolerate carnation because it tends to be spicy and neroli. I prefer Orientals and gourmands. I like notes of amber, ambergris, tobacco, Tonka bean, sandalwood, oud, musks, coffee, cocoa, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander and cumin (somewhat), leather, honey, oakmoss. I can tolerate patchouli if well balanced. If done well I like herbs like rosemary, thyme and basil (somewhat). I hate really cedary colognes. Stuff like Burburry by Burburry are offensive. Strong jasmine and cedar.

As you can see, I'm rather particular about my scents. The one's that most men wear are not for me. I don't want to smell like every other guy anyway.

I get compliments on what I wear and they aren't widely popular. I get the "oooooo you smell goooood, what are you wearing?" comments a lot. Of course there are usually pheros involved too. lol
