One night I headed out to do a bit of bar-hopping with two sprays of Odyssey. Not surprising for where I live, every bar was completely dead on a Thursday. As I sat outside I thought “Hmmmm......Odyssey seems very 'extrovert' to me. I wonder if anyone has tried to make the 'introvert' equivalent?” The next day I messaged SteveO about the idea and, lo and behold, he already had it in the works!
It has been dubbed “The Thinker.”
XS120 is something special, in my opinion. Very focused, easy going, words flow fluently. I have started to noticed this matches my natural sig almost perfect when I add a little Ascend (but I'll save that for another post). In general, I'm a fairly private person, a “live and let live” sort of thing. However, usually when I am hanging out with groups of people there is always that person who says something like “you're kinda quiet” or “are you OK?”. Not with The Thinker! I'm starting to refer to it as my “Introvert Acceptance” spray. At the same time, there is something very social about it. People seem to not only be willing to listen/follow, but to accept what has been said/done as correct.
1x spray
Self Effect: The first time I sprayed this stuff on it felt like I took a fat hit of pot and at the same time had a boat load of mental focus. After using this stuff for about a month or so the pot feeling is gone but the focus is still there.
Effect on Others: At one spray I haven't noticed much of an effect on others, however I may not have a good perspective on this being as it has been extremely cold lately and most of the time I need to have layers on which completely craps on the diffusion. More testing is definitely needed at one spray.
2x spray (My sweet spot!)
Self Effect: The same pot feeling, enhanced peripheral vision, sound seems slightly clearer, multitasking becomes second nature and even more mental focus, yet sometimes I find it hard to focus on uninteresting topics during conversation.
Effect on Others: People seem to want to be on the same page and with that it becomes almost effortless to lead conversations. Lately I've been wearing two sprays to band practice and the creative flow has really picked up between my guitarist and I but not so much with the drummer or singer (they are usually a bit farther away).
3x spray
Self Effect: Same as 2x but slightly difficult to lead conversations whether interesting or not due to a feeling that is reminiscent of Odyssey; a nice head high
, except not very talkative. I would like to note that this “high” feeling I've experienced with all doses lasts for about half an hour then mellows out to where i feel, just........mellow.......
Effect on Others: Same as 2x, however with this dose I experienced something kind of strange. Every once in a while I’ll get together with my usual crowd and we'll have an open jam session. I've noticed that when we are jamming (and everyone has been exposed to my cloud for about half an hour), everyone gets real focused and wants to express themselves and if they are interrupted they seem to get kind of pissy. This has been experienced four separate times and is not a usual thing that happens at practice which is why I am led to believe it's The Thinker.
4x spray
I won't go much into detail about this dose because I haven't had sufficient time to test it out. I tried it once and the usual reactions occurred only this time it acted more social, like I mixed it with some Flirt (which i will actually be testing soon).
I know there are a few things I may have left out but the main points are there. This blend really has a lot more going for it than I can explain, partially because of my lack of proper settings to test it in. As always, please question, comment, blah blah blah........
And of course my thanks and gratitude to SteveO for, well.......the usual stuff!
