If you weren't busy with your studies, I'd suggest that continue on with the boat ride but with an understudy. When I was a hot thing (hehe) with dates galore, I used to get disappointed when men would make promises to me, and leave them unfulfilled, so I'd find another one to do said activity with, which made for some unique first or second dates.

Oh, he said he was unable to do it today because work issues popped up and told me that if I'm available during the week, we can do something then. I'm not okay with how the situation was handled so he's going to have to prove himself by sending me my favorite flowers from a nice website. I already have my message written out.

I love the idea of going out, but I don't have any one to do it with since I just matched with a few new guys today. I also don't like last minute dates. But I plan on scheduling some dates for next week, I'm going to suggest the boat ride and dinner with another.
