I just wanted to express myself as well.
Steve is a great friend,mentor,family and "boss".
He didn't treat us as a "boss".When someone who is your boss treat you like a family you need to give him the same back but in the same time you need to respect all he gave you and do your job.
I've been through a lot of companies over the years - sad ,anxious and not motivated at all ,until one lucky day i spoke with XSteveO and NoelO and i start working here.I will never leave even when Steve is firing me everyday,but don't worry i fire him back too
We share everything with you guys with nothing hidden behind.You ,Steve and the rest of the crew are my family.
I beleive in GOOD and everyday this company,this forum gave me faith in people.
Don't stop sharing the good ,love each other ,love your family and appreciate every moment in life

Steve is a fantastic boss and person. He’s always caring and helpful. I wouldn’t want to work for/ with anyone else, honestly. He makes sure he asks us all what we think about things before they’re done. It’s hard to believe that a job like this exists for anyone who doesn’t work here and I know it because even I am surprised still. This job is very fun for me and I love it beyond words. Steve, Amanda and all of you guys are now my family. I wouldn’t trade you guys for anything. I hope you all know how appreciated you are, that includes my office family and my forum family.

The worst part is that I've found, the more autonomy you give people (I'm very hands off management) most of them self-destruct and end up leaving. We've gone through a lot of people over the years. I'm a very silly person with a big, big heart for people, which means I get used a lot.

My style is to point everyone in the direction we are going and with some slight nudging set them off in the right direction. Every decision is shared and we all have a say. Workers want to be managed but I try and make it very clear before anyone is hired that yes its a job, but no one will be standing over them every second of every day or for that matter not much at all.

My biggest fault is I let people taker advantage of my niceness but in the end it always sorts itself out.

I'm a HUGE Edvard Munch fan: With art like Separation, Hands, Melancholy i'd be hard-pressed to pick any single one as my favorite. The Scream fit the decor I was going for.

I understand completely, Edvard was amazing and his graphical work hold international standards.
