Success with Ascend and Xist

I just received my order of Ascend has anyone had success with Ascend and Xist mixed. Or recommends Ascend and Xist as a combo?

Ascend doesn't mesh well with me, but as you have cohesion, that's two thirds of the ace combo. In theory they should play nicely together.
