This is a place for men to talk openly and honestly about male topics including those others will find offensive. If you are easily offended, like to disagree with the guys, a hater or whatever the hell you wanna be, its all good, but not here.

Do not come here looking to disagree! Those who do will be banned from the entire section. Open and honest conversations are allowed and encouraged as disagreements will naturally happen. However if you come here because you want to disagree and therefore are looking to discourage conversation the only option I have is to ban you from the entire Men's category. Everybody has an opinion but nobody has a right to shut anyone else down.

With that said nobody is allowed to use this as a place for hatred either. I will not allow for anyone to use these sub-forums to discriminate, call out or in any way hate on anyone else. Don't fucking do it!

I was a Shop Steward for years and negotiated contracts. I represented mostly women while the men provided the backbone. The women indeed would choose lower wages, more flexible schedules, lower hours and create division between the men who instead of just wanting to get out of the house actually wanted more hours and higher pay. They also would choose health benefits over pay but that makes sense because women spend most of the healthcare money. They also have an aversion to picket lines and cold weather.

When push comes to shove, they just wanted out of the house and away from the kids. Some were significant earners but the majority were just there to keep downward pressure on wages. My employer would actually higher an extra thirty at contract time. They will accept jobs for lower pay also and employers like this because the more people you have competing for a job, the lower your wages that you have to pay.
