Yes but the effect of masking or buffering does not mean the other mone is all of a sudden not working. For example, copulins seem to be great around women who are ovulating, but very negative around women who are menstruating. A1 on the other hand is great all the time but is especially great during menstruation. When I wear my daily mix, it has both copulins and A1. What I have come to notice is that this mix rarely gives me negative hits if ever. This is because the copulins are attracting women who are ovulating, but the A1 is buffering the negative effect of the cops for women who are menstruating.
Another example is social mones like a-nol and b-nol. When you wear -nols with eNONE, you buffer/mask the "aggressive" part of eNONE that intimidates women, but you do not mask the sexually arousing part of eNONE. Complex blends like Evolve master this very well.
My point is, in the vast majority of cases pheromones are additive and not destructive, that is, when you add them together they become better than if they were separate. Our body produces many types of pheromones in our normal sweat; we weren't designed to only produce 1 or 2 types of pheromones, they all are produced and work together in a balance.
