Applying perfume oil fragrances separately with unscented pheromone oils/sprays

Hi all,

Would you let me know what is the recommended way to use perfume oil fragrances with unscented pheromones (oil/spray)?

I've gotten the idea to apply the perfume oil first, leave it for a few minutes, then apply the pheromones on the same spot. Is this right?

Choice 1.
You can spray the XSmones or dab the XS oil on first,
wait a few minutes to dry.
Then you can apply the perfume oil or cologne on top a
few minutes later.

Choice 2.
Or others prefer to apply the perfume oil or cologne first,
wait a few minutes to dry.
Then apply the XSmones or XS oil.

I prefer Choice 1.
But better to experiment with both methods, and see
which one you prefer.

My Choices have gone something like this:

• If my pheromone blend is a spray: Apply perfume oil first, then spray on pheromones, so the alcohol can lift both the scent and the mones into the air.
• If my pheromones are in oil: I apply the unscented phero oil first, then if needed, let dry down (usually if it is heavily copped). Then apply perfume oil. The scented oil will meld with the pheromone blend and your body heat will diffuse both the scent and the mones together
• Lightly scent my spray with the perfume oil: Florals and very gourmand scents work well for me. I have scented my sprays before with LPMP trial size vials of their fragrances. Just pop the top and pour it into the spray bottle. I usually let it marinate 24 hours, shaking here and there - but you can shake and wear right away too. The oil perfumes meld very nicely with XS alcohol base sprays. You will have to decant a bit of the spray or use a few unscented sprays first, to make room for the oil. I have only done this with XS 10ml (1/3oz) size bottles.

Magpie, after some testing, your Choice 1 appears to be the best! For some reason, distributing oil or spraying on top of the oil-perfumed skin (Choice 2) is more phero-smelling (stinking ).

NuTrix, I read your detailed post on pherotruth on this matter. Mixed some oil perfume with my Bliss sample (1/2 perfume + 2/3 pheros) and it seems to work fine. Didn't manage to cover Connections yet, though - only had a few drops of a certain type of perfume, but they weren't enough and I'm waiting for another package from thefragranceshop - will see how it goes. Unscented Connections is sooooo smelly!!

I'll see one of these days how Choice 1 goes with XiSt, but I guess I need to spray it close to the skin and wait for it to dry, so that I can cover it all with just a little oil afterwards. If this works, I'll stick to rubbing the fragrance on top of the phero spray/oil every time. It's a bit more tedious, but it gives me the freedom to choose the perfume every time. If I wanted the same freedom for scented sprays, I'd have to get my own atomizers and bottles and equipment and all that which I'm not so keen to do (yet ).

Yes, Cohesion's smell is easily covered by a spray of cover cologne
or fragrance oil. I have used a cover fragrance oil a number of times
successfully, 4 to 6 months ago. But most of the time now I use
cover colognes. I find it easier. Sometimes I don't use any cover
cologne at all 5% of the time. I always get my XSmones in Pepper
& Nutmeg, and FXS cover scents.

Not sure about projection, but I'm guessing it may slow down the
alcohol based XS mone slightly. As XS mone oils are generally slower
diffusion. The only oil I've tried fromXS is the XS massage oil. That
stuff is very strong projecting. Mostly because the body heat
increases while massaging.
