Thanks for that Ixist . That supports what I've read elsewhere. It also leads me to believe that my theory could be correct. That is that oils are more prone to conversion than alcohol. That is that the antiseptic properties of alcohol tend to "sterilize" the application area thereby killing the existing bacteria. Conversion is still possible but greatly delayed because of the time needed to repopulate the skin.
