Spray Pheros on Objects?

What do y’all think of spraying pheros on objects? Specifically I’m thinking of my doorbell. I don’t get much time around my ex but he comes to my door once or twice a week to pick up our daughter and I figure this might be a way to maximize his exposure.

I would avoid it because it's a hassle to wash it off if the results go south.
I would only recommend copulins.
