Subacriptions

I have subscribed to several threads so I can follow them. I like getting notifications here but now I'm getting emails every time someone posts in them. It's extremely annoying. Idk why this is happening. I have changed anything in my profile settings. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this some new automatic feature? If it is then it's a bad one. If this continues I'm going to have to unsubscribe from everything.
