Hey my lovely community members. I just wanted to write a little note about the community influencers updates.

Most you are aware that this is done manually. Usually,it is done pretty quickly because the system calculates the posts and all I have to do is update your store account with your much deserved discount.

I want to thank you guys for making this community a GREAT ONE! Other communities are green with envy as to how awesome we are.

While we love to see you work together in welcoming and helping the newbies and even getting together to play little games to take the edge of, this game thread and others like it is not in keeping with the spirit of the community influencers programm.

This thread will not be deleted or taken down because there is no harm done but the posts made in this thread from community members will have to be deleted from your overall posts to get the real post count so I can update your community influencer discount in the store.

Until we can get a system or some sort of program that don't count posts like these,I will have to do it manually. Separating the awesome posts and threads from the one word games.

Again,please understand that nothing wrong was done here. I am just letting my awesome members know that these posts don't count towards your community influencer post count or discounts and the upgrade is taking some time because I have to count and remove these posts manually.

KateD I concur, our apologies.
I do however think the this or that game shouldn't qualify. Much more words and descriptions. They certainly are "off topic" though as the subforum indicates.

Thank you guys for being so understanding. That is why I love you guys. Like I said, we don't want to censor something that is fun and put these restraints on our members so they feel they can't express themselves or have fun in different ways so deleting this won't be necessary.

Plus, I still need to calculate the members posts in these games and deduct them from their post count to get the correct total. Yes,it is more challenging but no one is to blame since it was all done in good fun and you guys were not aware.

You can create a game section, coded in such a way that the posts will not get counted. Or may be you can get the whole 'offtopic' part of the forums coded in that way.
This will save the hastle of your manual sorting.
