Well according to the DevOps the databases were not compromised. There was an article in (tech crunch I think) the other day that says SPAM has gone up by thousands of percent since the pandemic. More and more people are noticing it too. I'm now getting spam myself that commends me for my contributions to the "fashion industry" and promises me accolades and an award for such. I am fashion disabled! Wrinkled T-shirts and shorts with slides are my go-to.

Oh and I'm not discounting anyone here nor their experience with SPAM bombs! I'm just relaying what DevOps is saying and they are a third party with no real interest other than getting paid. To do a thorough forensics check would be cost-prohibitive and timely. It sucks that it happened but it did.

I did a password check on chrome. 26 passwords compromised with another email address. Had nothing to do with here. I noticed an app got installed without my knowledge into gmail. I notified google, they got back with the hack list. Yeah hacking is going through the roof.

I use random passwords for everything. It's a huge PITA until you get hacked somewhere.
