DHL delivery time from US to Australia

I normally order USPS from XS. The quickest was 12 days.
The average being 2 weeks. Sometimes 3 weeks. That all
depends on the time it gets held up in Miami Sort Facility.
So I thought I'd try DHL this time. The Order was processed
Monday 7-7-14 and arrived at my door at 8am Thursday
10-7-14. 3 days. Wow, that it super fast. I'm guessing that
it would take around 5 days to South east Asia? I wonder.
As usual, the customer service from XS is way above normal
business standards. SteveO, Idle, and the whole team at XS
are truly the best for us customers. Thankyou XS team.
I'll probably order again in the next 2 weeks. Good to stock
up on supplies, so that I don't run out of anything, haha...

Wow! That's a CRAZY turn around! I wonder what their secret is and if it will be consistent...that's an insane time difference! Hehe, bet it makes you want to order more stuff now... If it does turn out to be their consistent delivery time, could you post again to let us know? Thanx!

That is good news for you.

In hind side I wish I used DHL when I placed my order. Mine (USPS Priority Intl) arrived at Miami ISC one week ago and seems to have tuck there. I guess I will need to use DHL next time.

That's good to know Magpie. I'm in NSW, and XS orders (USPS) usually take around a week to get here, occasionally slightly longer.

Yeh, I think I'll keep ordering DHL from now on. I'll post the
delivery times each Order.

Miami waiting time sucks. The longest was 15 days at the
Miami Sort facility. Normally 1 to 2 days Munford,
1 to 3 days Memphis, 3 to 15 days Miami(average 5 days).
Then 1 to 3 days Australia until delivery. The size of Miami
Sort Facility must be enormous. Very busy place I guess.

I usually order on Fridays USPS. So the weekend 2 days,
slows down USPS delivery times. If it arrives in Australia
on a friday, then I wait until monday or tuesday for delivery.
So these 2 factors are also at play.

Overall, I don't mind waiting at all. But the fast delivery time
from DHL has really impressed me.
