We just celebrated our third year in business on July 15th and I wish I could have said it all went smoothly. As you are probably aware it didn’t. One of our main component molecules (Androstenone) went missing in transit and doesn’t look like it will be found anytime soon. As a result lots of popular products went out of stock and I spent the month scrambling to get resupplied, or at least enough to get us by for a few weeks.
I’m still hopeful eventually our lost molecule will show up, but in the meantime our production lab is beginning the formulation process on a new batch. While understanding this is a very common molecule, the amount we are having produced is not. When completed we will have enough to last a good while.
You’re probably wondering why such a commonly used molecule then was difficult to procure forcing many products to be out of stock. Its because, while readily available, I will never sacrifice quality over some crap! The XS Quality Initiative stands firm that unless its from a trusted source (one that we have verified with 3rd party testing) we wouldn’t even think of using it.
Believe me when I tell you I’d rather close down XS than sacrifice on our values. This is why items invariably will go out of stock. We all love what we do here at XS and you can count on us to stick up for whats right. The day XS becomes work is the day I hang it up.
For all of us at XS its not just about the pride of meeting obligations like our lightning fast shipping. Its more about the sense of accomplishment knowing we are making a difference. So everything is finally back in stock and I have a few surprises. You can now upgrade every retail spray in Men, Women and Unisexy to 15ml and a few others to 30ml. This includes Bliss, Vibes and even the Mix and Match packs.
You’ve made Free Everywhere Shipping a Huge success and the feedback on the Graphical Olfaction-Advantage Leveraging System™ has been incredible. All I can say is its not even done yet and if you love it now, I am thrilled because I know just how intuitive and awesome of an experience its going to be.
Did I mention the oils? Well its summer and I figured you all might like some oil blends so I went ahead and did the only natural thing to do. That’s right new oil blends for men and women. Some of the content mg and verbiage about sprays and drops are still off on the new oils. Here it is 2am again and so there is only so many hours in the day.
