It's hard to imagine Women sacrificing their lives for their families at war and at work. That's why we men are important too. I've been around dozens of mining disasters, I grew up with many stories of men falling into vats of molten steel or buried in the buttresses of our local bridges. More men die behind the wheel of big trucks every year than die at war. Not to take away from men veterans lives that we lose tens of thousands in a few short years but regular old working men still die at rates that will make your head spin. They die in an instant and many many more die slowly by work-related diseases.
To all the working men, the sacrificing men and the ones whose bones this world is built on, RESPECT!!!

On December 6, 1907, 367 men were working in Fairmont Coal Company mines when, unexpectedly, an explosion occurred which killed an estimated 362 of the miners, with only four escaping and one being rescued by those who came to help. Sadly, the four who escaped later died due to injuries related to the incident. The Monongah Mining Disaster
