With those specific terms, I would read that as a power play.
Personally, I think that power is used in place of trust to maintain the integrity of a relationship, and a fools errand at that.
Women who want to dominate men generally don't consider the final outcome, which is lowering their own value by choosing a man who would allow himself to be controlled by a woman. In other words, she gets exactly what she wants, and then loses respect for the man in the process because he's weak.
