  • Has Pepper & Nutmeg changed?

I have spent over 1000USD from pheromonexs.com in the past two years, every spray/oil I get is with pepper&nutmeg, and for the most part, they all the same. They all smell peppery/minty.

After taking a year's break from ordering any products I have recently stocked up on 2x bottles of XiSt, in pepper and nutmeg. I noticed that the smell, is more nutmeg, and less peppery than usual.

Has something changed with the Pepper & Nutmeg scent, or is it just me?

Ascend Oil (double cops) - Evolve Oil - Taboo Oil & Spray - XiSt Oil & Spray - Cohesion Oil & Spray - Bliss Oil & Spray - Sob Oil & Spray - Celebrity Spray - LoveBoat Spray - Vibe Spray - Connections Spray - Innocence Spray

all cover scented with Pepper & Nutmeg

Not sure about that, hopefully someone gets back to you. Side question: Do you usually cover pepper & nutmeg with some other scents or just on its own?

I will forward this to the lab so they can answer this question

The short answer is yes it can and will vary.

The more robust answer is we do not use aldehydes or other lab-made fragrances in the cover scents I make here in the lab. Those are made about every few months, depending on the popularity of course, with essential oils. I try to always source the very best essential oils I can get my hands on. Many come from international sources and I pay a premium for them because this is stuff going on our skin. It should be the best, not to mention (and not to sound like marketing hype) but XS customers are the best and so deserve the best!

We love you guys and I thank you for bringing this to my attention. The last batch was September 16th (TNFIHPN/O-SO091620) made by me. There have been 2 batches between your last purchase and this last one for a total of 3. While I attempt to buy essentials from the same person, even those can have variations. I've noticed the black pepper sometimes isn't as robust as other times which is why I limit buying any essential in bulk. Sometimes I've found some dealers will actually sell the first one of really good quality only to send a lesser quality but never with this guy. As to essential oils used the last 3 batches all come from the same source bottles.

I did just sample this newest batch along with Bobbi and we both agree it does smell more peppery than nutmegy. I'm not sure what to tell you about your perceived change pingu. I certainly don't discount your experience in any way, but we haven't had any other questions regarding the scent.

Who knows, maybe I messed it up somehow, or maybe because it was close to the end of the last batch. It would be interesting if some type of settling occurred, although we all know to stir the bottles every morning. Pepper Nutmeg is pretty popular though so it does get used a lot.

I'm mailing out a concentrate bottle to you today for your review.

I have Spicebomb, Aventus and Le Male as cologne. So i know those.I had Aqua di gio.
Only remaining "in house" scents, as said "PheromoneXS scent".
Option one would be buying in the same scent as my colognes and cover with them. This seems perfect.
Option two, buying with "in house" scents to try them. This seems poor as i may not like the scent.
Option tree, buying unscented along with concentrated scent so i can scent them later with whatever i like.

I believe samples are available with an order.

I don't know yet how it works with orders.Still reading reviews debating what to order.
I know you can ask for sample. But sample just for scent??Or scented product?
I would prefer sample for a product versus sample just for a scent.

as far as I know it is only sample scents and not scented product samples. Nothing keeping you from adding a drop or two of scent to a sample vial though and doing it yourself. I don't know the ratios but if you get them we can try to figure them out trial and error right her. That's how we do everything anyhow, trial and error

                      Thanks.
I think i will go with my first batch of pheromones unscented and some pepper&nutmeg concentrate oil because people here speak highly of this scent. Also i have some good colognes, so i am covered in that department.
What i need to do next is to open a journal so people here can assist me on my journey.

Imo, scented products diffuse and work better than unscented because of better scent diffusion, especially with oils. So it might be a better idea to get scented products, despite the diffusion technology added to XS products. I also find it easier to dose and find my sweet spot with the scents as my adjustment sometimes.

But since you have good colognes and with the scent oils, if you cover effectively, i dont think a major issue should occur.

The only problem with getting a phero scented is if in the end results i don't like the scent.
I know there's a return policy, but I don't want to do that.At least i hope i will not get there.
I am curious about Pepper&nutmeg and maybe Nobility.
But most of the folks are praising the peppery scent.

Anyhow, i live in a mountain area.Really cold outside.Snow.Below zero today.
In this weather diffusion is minimal at most.We all know that frozen air destroys scents.
Very few bar open to test pheros.
But let's not lose hope. The sun will rise.

Proper humidity is a big factor too. In those cold temps humidity often drops a lot. I think 70 percent works for me but just a guess.

The only thing i know about humidity is the cold feels way colder as the heat.I learned this on my skin some years back while working in Spain.
Here in Romania air is really dry already.
After testing some products i will see how they diffuse and if i need to improve diffusion.I have some strong colognes.

Start trying some skin moisturizers too. even if just your application spots. Personally I'm inconclusive about which colognes carry pheromones in dry weather.

Damn, that is one cold beeyatch weather. Never got to below 15 degree celcius on an average even in January extremes where i live, and i find that scary cold.

Id hugely advice you to go for sprays and not oils in your current weather, as oils will be very very hard to use at that temp imo.

Yes i will go for spray but the first reason its the price, not cold weather.I don't want to waste 80 bucks on a bottle until i see what the product its doing for me.
The only oil i want its Desire Me.I hear it's some kind of Viagra.

Regardless of price, even if the oil was cheaper, the logical thing for you would be to go with sprays at that kind of cold weather. Oils would be redundant, save it for summer time, at temperatures of around 20 to 25 degree celcius and upwards.

Also, cops stinks, so it might ve a very good idea to get DesireMe as a scented product, just my two cents
