As of 12pm I sent everyone home and called it a day. There is a severe weather outbreak here in the Memphis/Mid-South area with straight-line winds at 20mph and gusts of 50mph. Damaging winds, large hail, and possibly a tornado with some storms.
We are currently under a tornado watch. Retail orders placed before noon were shipped, but anything after will ship tomorrow. Please understand the well-being of my team is far more important than anything else. I don't typically let these types of things bother me, but I have to admit I'm a little bit worried about these storms. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

It's official: Due to snow and extreme cold, our USA facilities will be closed this week
UPDATE: We tried to go in today, but the weather decided to sleet this morning. Roads are treacherous and not worth risking our lives.
UPDATED 1/22: The extreme cold has finally broken here in South-West Tennessee. Living down here in the south we get these storms (mostly in spring and fall) but the unusual warnings kind of had everyone on edge. It was supposed to hit us between 2-4 and I did not want the girls to have to drive through that mess, so closing shop was the right thing as a precaution.
This storm was odd though as there were clear bell echoes in the doppler right above my house and the entire area was red. Normally news would be saying take cover and sirens would be going off, but outside there was a light drizzle and breeze. It was the strangest thing ever.
